Punchbowl Software, Inc. ("Punchbowl," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Services"). Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of our Services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, information collected automatically as you use our Services, and information we receive from third parties.
Information you provide: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, payment information, and any other information you choose to provide. When you contact us for support, we collect the content of your communications.
Automatically collected information: When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps), device information (hardware model, operating system, unique device identifiers), and usage data (features used, actions taken, errors encountered).
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Services; process transactions and send you related information; send you technical notices, updates, and security alerts; respond to your comments and questions; and monitor and analyze trends and usage to improve our platform.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models without explicit consent.

We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We are SOC 2 Type II certified and undergo annual penetration testing by independent third parties. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems with absolute certainty.
8. International transfers
Punchbowl is based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries. By using our Services, you consent to this transfer. For transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "last updated" date, and where required by law, by email. Your continued use of our Services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
